Burning Bet is another crypto casino owned and operated by the Altacore NV team. In recent months we have had a mixed experience with Altacore casinos. While we enjoyed playing on sites like Wild Tokyo, we found the lack of focus on crypto products or bonuses to be a small problem. Burning Bet, at first glance, looks like a fairly similar setup to these other sites; however, it definitely focuses on sports betting. Let’s take a more detailed look and see if this can provide a good online gaming experience or if we run into the same issues.

Basics

As mentioned in the introduction, Burning Bet is turning away from slots and online games to focus on sports betting. As such, the majority of the site is dominated by this, with soccer balls and flaming objects flying around when you load up on objects. The fire and sports theme of the page is not too intrusive, however, and for the most part, the orange and black colours complement the page well.

The navigation is still fairly straightforward, with the home page dominated by sports betting offers and all other pages easily accessible via a toolbar at the top of the page. The gaming and sports betting sections themselves are easy to navigate, with both offering a selection of different filters to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

In terms of other key things about the site – the operator is licensed by Curacao, which means you don’t have to worry about your safety when playing here. Just like other Altacore sites like Stellaris Casino, there are also many other security features in place to ensure you have a smooth experience.

Slot Machines and Games

According to the About Burning Bet Casino page, the operator is home to around 3,000 different slot machines and games. The usual suspects have games on offer here, including Microgaming, NetEnt, Yggdrasil, and iBetSoft. In addition to that, the operator also offers games from many small companies, including names such as CQ9 and Ho Gaming. Personal favourites like NoLimit City and Relax Gaming are also popping up in a fairly diverse selection of online slots games.

The niche selection is easy to navigate, and there are several different categories you can browse. This includes a jackpot section as well as a section dedicated to new releases. Unfortunately, the jackpot section doesn’t feature big names like Mega Moolah, which will always be a bummer.

As I always do, I will point out the lack of provable games or Bitcoin slots on this site. The operator needs to improve their game in this regard, with none of the Altacore casinos I have reviewed recently offering one of these. While this might not seem like a big deal to some players, the fact that the site offers crypto options means it really fails to offer it.

However, you don’t just need to trust casino games. The site is also home to a good range of live casino options. Like most of the best online casinos, the site is powered by Evolution, with all of the standard live casino games they offer. Fortunately, however, there is some variety here, with the site also working alongside Ezugi and other developers.

As we have mentioned, the casino is heavily oriented towards sports betting, which takes center stage when you first visit the site. The sports betting options here are solid, with the site offering markets for tons of top sports. Obviously, football (football, to our friends across the Atlantic) tends to be the most popular, with all the top divisions represented here.

It obviously also aims to keep abreast of all betting trends, with several eSports available for betting. You will find markets on popular games like DOTA 2, Counterstrike, NBA 2K and more here. There is also a live betting section where players can bet money on events as they unfold.

Bonuses and Promotions

Considering the operator’s emphasis on both casino games and sports betting, it’s no surprise that a good range of offers is available here. For the welcome casino bonus, players can claim bonuses for the first two deposits and choose which bonus they claim for each. Bonuses break down as follows:

  • 1st deposit: 200% up to € 50 for deposits of € 20 + or 200% bonus up to € 100 + 100 free spins for deposits from € 50 +
  • 2nd deposit: 90% bonus up to € 500 with deposits of € 20 + or 90% up to € 500 + 200 free spins with deposits from € 50 +

This flexibility is a good idea, and the total bonus amount that can be claimed is nice and generous. The wagering requirement is set at 30 times the bonus and deposit amount, which is a bit high, and given the amounts offered, it may take some time. However, the maximum bonus withdrawal is € 500, which is quite generous if you are incredibly lucky.

This trend of giving out large amounts continues with the Sports Betting Welcome Bonus, which allows players to claim 100% up to € 300 for the first deposit. Elsewhere, there is a weekly fire bonus that allows players to claim a 155% bonus and some free spins, as well as a Wednesday bonus and a weekly reload offer.

The site also updates its sports betting bonuses regularly and will do its best to keep abreast of sporting events. For example, you can expect to receive a bonus bombardment during World Cup or Super Bowl weekend. The terms and conditions of the latter also tend to be less demanding.

As I pointed out in many of my reviews recently, there is a lack of crypto-based promotions for the site. To me, if you are going to have crypto options, offering bonuses for crypto just makes sense and encourages players to use them as a deposit method.

Deposits and Withdrawals

There are many great deposit and withdrawal methods available at Burning Bet, but I have encountered the same issues with this part of the casino as with previous Altacore sites that I have reviewed.

When it comes to depositing with Fiat methods, the minimum that can be deposited at one time is € 20, while all crypto methods require a minimum deposit of € 50. Needless to say, if you are a crypto player, it can be quite frustrating, and even more so if you are playing on a budget. The site appears to be doing very little to try and get players to gamble with crypto.

That frustration aside, the crypto options you’ll find here are pretty solid. The operator allows players to play with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and a handful of other cryptos. It looks like the casino is keeping abreast of crypto trends, at least.

Like other Altacore sites, you have the option to purchase crypto through UTORG. I’ve never used the service myself, but the casino is probably taking advantage of this offer, and that’s why the deposit options are so high. Since I’ve never used it, I won’t comment on its exchange rates and fees, but I will make sure you research it extensively if you intend to use it for trading.

Withdrawals seem to be the same across the board, with the minimum withdrawal amount set at € 20 whether you use crypto or fiat methods. This only adds to the frustration of the higher minimum deposit. However, no fees are applied by the casino and the wait time for withdrawals tends to be between 1 and 5 business days.
